WOMENS ONLY ARCHERY
After the successful men’s archery sessions recently at the Itikaaf with Habib Muhammad as Saggaf (Living with the Prophet SAW), SA'ADAH are happy to announce a women's only archery weekend in January 2013. We are teaming up with Jehad Shamis from Archery for All to bring a course on archery with the intention of reviving interest in this disappearing Sunnah.

On the authority of Abu Sa’id al Khudri, may Allah Almighty be well pleased with, who related that the Holy Prophet, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said,
‘Learn the casting of arrows and the Qur’an.’
And the Messenger of Allah (SAW) has spoken truly.
Saturday 12th January 2013 and Sunday 13th January 2013
A women’s only weekend of archery with a dars by Ustaadha Badriyyah who will be speaking about archery and it’s associated Sunnahs. All Sessions will be 2 hours each and will run over the weekend. Full archery instructions will be provided by qualified instructors from Archery for All and previous background knowledge of the sport is NOT needed.
A certificate will be provided upon completion of the session for attendees

Cost: £20 per 2 hour session. Each session will be taught by the instructor(s) and sessions will include safety regulations, handling of archery equipment and shooting at targets. Each session will have a maximum of 15 participants.
Attendees are allowed to book for more than one session if they choose to but additional payment is required.
Payments can be made via paypal on the website or on the day. However, places are limited and allocated on a first come first serve basis.
** Requirements **
Attendees to be 16 years
To dress in comfortable and casual attire, adherance to safety regulations at all times and performance of the required warm-up exercises.
For the female archery classes there will be a non tactile approach.
Any health issues/conditions must be made known to the instructor(s) beforehand.
